Yesinn Hostel

Yesinn Hostel is in the heart of Hong Kong in the Rialto Mansion building in the Fortress Hill area of Hong Kong Island. The hostel is directly opposite the Fortress Hill subway stop, and is only two stops from the main shopping area of Causeway Bay. It is across the harbour from the majority of the budget beds, in Kowloon along Nathan Road, so it can be a nice option if you want to get away from those crowds.

Guests at Yesinn Hostel can choose from the most basic budget accommodations of dorm style rooms or private singles, twins or doubles. There are also private rooms with up to six beds in them if you are part of a group or a family. All rooms - besides the dorm rooms - have private en suite bathrooms, and the decor throughout is colorful and cheerful.

The Yesinn Hostel is relatively new, so there is none of the run-down feel that often accompanies the “mansion” hostels along Nathan Road - the ones that have been there for 20 years or more. While there is not a kitchen at Yesinn Hostel, there is a communal refrigerator and microwave, so you can heat up some water for tea if you like or store a little snack for breakfast. The hostel provides a free supply of distilled water for its guests, and accepts credit cards via Paypal.

You may find cheaper rooms in Kowloon, but you may also find those rooms a little on the dilapidated side. At Yesinn Hostel, you will find colorful rooms which are kept clean, and a staff which is eager to help you have a great stay in Hong Kong.
