There is a three-hour lockout period at Itaca Hostel, from 4:00am until 7:00am, when you are free to leave but you may not enter. This is just to ensure that if some people want to get up early and go sight seeing they can be sure of getting at lest three hours of uninterrupted sleep! When there are festivals going on in Barcelona, however, there is no lockout period at all.
