Hostel Bridge

If you know Prague’s Old Town at all, you can probably guess what landmark Hostel Bridge is going to be close to. (If you do not yet know the Old Town, you soon will.) The hostel is located on either side of the lovely Charles Bridge. On one side, it is called Hostel Bridge, and on the other it is called Hostel Bridge 2. Both properties are right in the historic center of Prague, so it makes getting to most of the things you want to see easy – even on foot.

The prices are a little bit higher for Hostel Bridge than at some of the properties you will find further away from the Old Town center, you just need to decide whether the extra cost is worth it. The rooms at Hostel Bridge range from private double rooms with or without an en suite bathroom up to a dorm style room with eight beds, so you can save money by staying in a dorm style room and then the prices are comparable to the properties further away.

Some of the amenities you will find at Hostel Bridge are:

  • Free linens, towels available
  • On site restaurant
  • Laundry facilities
  • Car parking available
  • No curfew or lockout

The historic building containing Hostel Bridge dates from the 14th century, so not only are you surrounded by history when you are walking through Prague, you can also sleep in an historic building. The hostel is on a quiet street, so even though you might be partying in Prague until the wee hours, you can always come back to the hostel to get a good night’s sleep – so you can do it all again the next day!

You are bound to find more free extras at other hostels, but with its central location and reasonable prices, it is easy to see why Hostel Bridge is popular with travelers. There is really nothing like being able to walk out the hostel door and right into the middle of the action, is there?
