Emerald Fields

Emerald Fields is a comfortable hostel right in the center of Florence, a short walk from the train station and close to the Accademia Gallery (the one with the statue of David!). Most of the city’s main sights are within walking distance, which is a treat in this highly walkable city. More than just tourist attractions are close to Emerald Fields, however, as the hostel is not far from lots of restaurants, clubs and bars. The hostel itself is actually a great place for a party.

Depending on how much privacy you are looking for at Emerald Fields, you can reserve a bed in one of the dorm style rooms or get more of your own space in one of the private rooms (for 2-3 people at most). The hostel does have a lockout period, from 11:00am until 2:00pm for cleaning purposes, and reception is not open 24 hours a day. There is no curfew, however.

Some of the amenities you will find at Emerald Fields are:

  • Free linens
  • Free internet access and WiFi access throughout hostel
  • Laundry facilities
  • Luggage storage
  • No curfew

If the sights and sounds of Florence are not enough to tempt you out at night after a busy day of looking at famous art, then perhaps the Emerald Fields pub crawl will make you want to go out again! And if adrenaline rushes are more like what you live for, the hostel staff is happy to arrange a sky diving trip for you, as well. Of course, if all you want to do is relax after a long day of sight seeing, the lounge is cozy and provides a great spot to relax with a book or with new friends.

Emerald Fields is perfectly located to make your stay in Florence easy, and the friendly and helpful staff really go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time in their city.
