Czech Inn
The Czech Inn (get it?) routinely receives rave reviews from both travel guidebooks and past guests. While not immediately in the popular Old Town, the hostel is on a couple of Prague’s main tram routes so it is easy to get into the tourist areas whenever you like. The tram routes also intersect with the Metro lines if you prefer to travel underground. And if you are returning to the hostel late after a long night drinking or partying, you will be pleased to know that two night trams make stops near the hostel, too.
Depending on how much privacy you want, you can choose from either dorm style rooms or private rooms at Czech Inn. The dorms have anywhere from three to 12 beds in them, and the private rooms are from one to three people. All rooms share bathroom facilities down the hall - no rooms have en suite bathrooms.
Some of the amenities you will find at Czech Inn are:
- Free linens, towels available
- Internet access and WiFi
- Luggage storage and security lockers
- On site bar and restaurant
- 24 hour reception and 24 hour check in
- No curfew or lockout
The Czech Inn itself is in a modern renovation of a 19th century building, and features its own bar and cafe - just in case you do not want to go too far to find the perfect spot to hang out with friends. The cafe serves an all-you-can-eat breakfast for a reasonable price, so it is a good place to fill up in the morning before a long day of sight seeing.
Having locals around to help you with your travel plans is always a plus, and the friendly and informative staff at Czech Inn are always on hand to assist with whatever you need, from restaurant recommendations to train ticket information to hostel bookings at your next destination. The personal attention and easy access to the parts of Prague you want to be in make staying at Czech Inn - even if it is not in the center of everything - a real treat.
