Those with allergies, do not fear - Cat’s Hostel is for people and not full of felines. It is also one of the hostels with the highest ratings in all of Madrid. The hostel is in an 18th century building in the city center, close to the Anton Martin metro stop and many of the city’s tourist attractions. Right outside the hostel’s door in the Huertas district you will find plenty of bars, discos, nightclubs and places to get the traditional “tapas.”
The rooms at Cat’s Hostel range from small double bedrooms with their own private en suite bathrooms to dorm rooms with shared bathrooms, and the dorm rooms range from four to 16 beds. Each bed comes with linens, so you do not need to worry about bringing your own or paying extra, and each room also has secure storage for each guest. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean.
Some of the amenities you will find at Cat’s Hostel are:
Like an increasing number of fun hostels, Cat’s Hostel has its own bar and nightclub, called “Cave-Bar.” It is probably the best place to meet other travelers and hang out, swapping travel tales over some of the cheapest beer in Madrid. You can begin your night here, to get warmed up before a long night out, or you can just pick a favorite barstool and stay until closing time. At least the trip back to your bed is not long!
Cat’s Hostel is one of those fantastic all-in-one hostels that is very popular with young people who follow the party from city to city, but it also features some of the amenities backpackers love having under one roof when they are not out dancing. Things like free internet access and a TV with international satellite service help make Cat’s Hostel one of Madrid’s most popular places to stay.
