Backpackers BCN might only be a short 10-15 minute walk from the city center, but the proprietors want to make sure that you can enjoy a good night’s sleep after you have enjoyed seeing the city. So while the hostel is centrally located and you can easily get to everything you will want to see or do in Barcelona, you will also be staying in a quiet area where you can relax when you want to. The hostel is in the Eixample Dret neighborhood, and anything you cannot walk to is reached by the excellent metro system - the number 3 line is close to the hostel and will take you wherever you need to go.
You will not find overcrowded or noisy dorm rooms at Backpackers BCN, either - the bedrooms sleep either two, four, six or eight people, and the entire hostel can only hold a total of 22 people. It is easy to feel safe and comfortable in a small hostel where you can really get to know everyone who is staying there with you. The living room and kitchen are available for all guests to use and enjoy, and there is even a DVD collection and Play Station. The hostel also boasts a nice terrace at the rear of the building where you can eat a meal or hang out with your new friends.
Some of the amenities you will find at Backpackers BCN are:
Because it is so small, Backpackers BCN can afford to give excellent personal attention to each of its guests. You can leave your hair dryer at home, the hostel provides them. The same goes for your electric plug adapter - the hostel provides those, too. Oh, and if you will be too busy sight seeing to do your laundry, the hostel provides a laundry service as well.
While the hostel might fill up quickly, it is easy to see why Backpackers BCN is so popular - it is a friendly and homey atmosphere, ideal for seeing the sights and actually sleeping all the way through the night afterwards. What a concept!
