4 You München

4 You München is located near the main train station and has been operating in Munich since 1993. The hostel is close to the city center, and it is also situated on the side of the train station that is away from the red light district, making it a safe and relatively quiet location. The organization which opened 4 You München was an early adopter of envrionmentally responsible building methods, including solar panels and more efficient electricity and water systems being installed when the building was renovated.

Within the same building at 4 You Munchen there is a hostel and a hotel, and there are both dorm style rooms and private rooms. Both kinds of rooms have incredibly low rates and the same level of attention to detail. Guests can choose from single or twin rooms if they want more privacy, or dorms with up to eight or 12 beds in them at the lowest cost. There are single and twin rooms in the hostel, but these do not have private bathrooms. The private rooms with private bathrooms are on the hotel floors of the building.

There are recycling stations near the drink machines and in the kitchen. The house rules also include a prohibition on noise after 10:00pm so that people who wish to sleep may do so in peace. The common room and smoking room are both open until midnight.

4 You Munchen is not going to be party central, which may be ideal after a long day of sight seeing or partying at Oktoberfest. The hostel’s environmentally friendly attitude is a positive thing which just might help make everyone more aware of their impact in the world. Along with these perks, the hostel also organizes guided tours of Munich and the staff are on hand to assist with any travel need you have. 4 You München is not your standard hostel, but that is what makes it special.
